• Prior to joining EFG-Hermes in 2006, Harmit worked at the Mergers and Acquisition Group of Lazard Frères in New York for 3 years and at the Investment Banking Group of Merrill Lynch in New York and London for 6 years

• Harmit has considerable experience in leading the execution of M&A and capital market transactions in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and the United States

• Over $100 billion in completed M&A and capital raising transactions across various sectors (telecom, financials, energy and power, transport, consumer, real estate, industrials, F&B, healthcare)

• Harmit received his B.Sc. From Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, in 1998 with a major in Electrical Engineering (graduated Summa Cum Laude)
